10% Discount on 1 month of Accommodations or Spanish Classes for 1 month of volunteering! No experience needed!  If your arrival date is within ONE WEEK please call the office directly at 2533-3640

PRICES - valid until September 30th 2010
Accommodations, Spanish School Class packages & Gekko's Soda and grill
Notes: Onsite and in town Volunteers receive a 10% discount on any one month commitment to Spanish classes or accommodation packages below.
Host program volunteer receives room and breakfast with 10% discount on Spanish Classes.
All Montaņa Linda Spanish School students receive a 10% discount on all meals at Gekko's.
Long term discounts can be given but only upon arrival and based on stays longer then 5 nights.
Nights reserved are nights paid.  No refunds are given on reserved nights.

Pricing Notes: All prices are quoted in US dollars as the local currency rate fluctuates to frequently. Our prices on the website are always up to date.  Spanish School Costa Rica study packages vary for each choice of accommodations. Please remember that price quotes can not be given without us knowing your accommodation choices.  Be sure to specify when booking... Dorm or private double room in the youth hostel or Guest House or family?

Prices at Montaņa Linda Youth Hostel - Shared Bathrooms
Dormitory beds $ 7.50 per person
Private Room: double occupancy $ 20.00 room ($10.00 per person)
Private Room: Single occupancy $ 15.00 per person
Camping w/ own tent $ 3.00 per person
Camping w/ our tent $ 4.00 per person
Kitchen fee* $ 1.00 per person
Laundry $ 6.00/$8.00
Extra Spanish Class of 3 hours $ 22.00 (after 5 class package)
Airport pickup each way $ 60.00 including 2 persons
 $15.00 per hour for waits in between flights.
Airport pickup note: If you will not make it out the doors within 2 hours from the time your plane has landed due to lost luggage etc. you MUST call us or after 2 hours we will assume that something has happened and you have missed your flight and will send the driver home and you will still be charged for the pickup.
Prices at Montaņa Linda's Guest House - Private bathrooms
Private Doubles with private bathroom: double occupancy $30.00 room ($15.00 per person)
Laundry $ 6.00/$8.00
Extra Spanish Class of 3 hours $ 22.00 (after 5 class package)
Airport pickup each way $ 60.00 including 2 persons
($15.00 per hour for waits in between flights.)
Our rooms with a view are based on double occupancy with an extra charge of $5.00 per extra person in the same room. Each room has a private bathroom, towels and fan. 
Pre reservations for the guest house have a 2 night minimum requirement and remember that all nights reserved must be paid upon arrival with no refunds for missed nights.

Our Spanish language school package prices are based on how many classes you are planning to take and what type of accommodations you are choosing to stay in. 

We have four options of ACCOMMODATIONS : Camping, Hostel,  Homestay and Guest House.

Classes are 5 days per week from Monday to Friday.  Once you have chosen an accommodation option number, find your price based on the connecting columns of the number of classes you are planning to take and the accommodation option you have chosen.

#1 Tent Tent accommodations
and
Classes		 This is the cheapest of our packages and is best for tenters with experience. If you do not have your own tent, one can be rented for the special studying student price of $1.00 per tent per night. Mattresses, pillows and sheets can also be rented for $2.00 per tent per night. 
#2 Hostel Hostel accommodations
and
Classes		 This is the most popular "Budget" option.  Prices include dormitory accommodations, with Private rooms having an extra charge of $5.00 per room per night. Remember that an additional price of $1.00 per stay will be added to your bill if you plan to cook in our guest kitchen. 
#3 Homestay Homestay accommodation

Dinner		 This option is great for full immersion for both culture and language. Families can be accommodated. 
#4 Guest House Guest House accommodations
 and
Classes		 This is our priciest option but well worth the extra money involved.  Rooms are based on double occupancy with an extra charge per extra person in same room.  Classes are 3 hours of class with a class price discount included below for longer staying students.  Families can also be accommodated here in one room with a double bed and bunk bed. Please book early as we have only 3 rooms available each with private bathroom.

Hostel options are with accommodations in Dormitory.
Hostel Private rooms have an extra charge of $5.00 per room per night.
Homestay option includes breakfast and dinner.
Please book in advance to ensure placement.
All learning materials provided.
Classes Run from Monday to Friday.
Arrival on Sunday between 1-4 pm,  before 3 pm if going into homestay family.
Vegetarians are no problem. Please let us know when booking.

OTIAC...the all in one traveler's center.

Post office, local and national Tourist information, Souvenirs, café, lunch and juice bar, breakfast and lunches, snacks, Spanish classes, clothing, car rental, laundry services, book exchange, free wifi and Skype call are available with our Skype phone for a $2.00 base fee and the Skype cost per minute.
"Gekko's Soda and Grill"... Otiac's on site restaurant
Breakfasts are a choice of 5 different plates. A snack and lunch menu is also available. Vegetarians are no problem. Please check in with the restaurant to see daily opening hours.  The cost of meals are from $4.00 to $6.00.  Snacks, coffee and Wifi are also available and feel free to come by and just hang out!

These are our standard activities available that we offer. For more details feel free to talk to us when you arrive.  If you're interested in any other special nights feel free to organize them with other guests.
Price Photo Desciption
Classes can be in her house for $3.00 p/p or with a large group in Otiac for $6.00p/p or combined with cooking classes for $15.00p/p.  Orosi Valley Spanish school, Montana Linda, Costa Rica-activities-Dances classes Dance classes: Salsa, merengue and cumbia Dance classes are offered once a week directly with one of our teachers. 
Usually Thursday evening.

Cooking Classes are available with minimum 5 students and cost $10.00 p/p or combined with dance classes for $15.00p/p.		 Orosi Valley Spanish school, Montana Linda, Costa Rica-activities-cooking classes
Cooking classes: Learn how to make empanadas, tortillas and chimirchuri and have a chance to eat it too!   Usually Thursday evening.



Price is based on number of participants		 Orosi Valley Spanish school, Montana Linda, Costa Rica-activities-soccer night Soccer night: Join the Montana Linda team and play with us against a local Orosi team.  Not to worry, we choose our opponent team based on ability and skills.  Or just be a spectator and cheer us on!! 
Usually Tuesday evening. 

Hot tub can be ordered for special occasions for $30.00 with 3 days notice.		 Orosi Valley Spanish school, Montana Linda, Costa Rica-activities-hot tub night Hot Tub night: Take a travelling break and Relax and in our fire powered hot tub with space for 12.  The hot tub is sparked up at least once a month and can be ordered for special occasions.
