Most of our
hikes take you into the hills so good hiking shoes are advised, but
there are also trails that take you through water so an old pair of
shoes is also advisable. Bug spray is advisable for
hiking these trails. |
| Waterfalls hikes |
  Nano's waterfall is located 30 minutes from Otiac and is a great dose of local charm and natural in the simplest form. With a little luck you'll run into Nano and get the tour as well and feel like you've gone back in time! Rio macho Waterfall is a major hike, 3 hours each way, but worth the hike. The views along the way are beautiful, taking you through many different types of vegetation. There is a pool for swimming at the bottom, but it is COLD! This tour is only done in high season and done in group, via Nano! |

  These hotsprings are simple and simply natural. Located about 45 minute walk from Otiac, these natural springs are along side the cold river and offer a great getaway from the pool style springs of the rest of the town. |

  There are many options for hikes along the river. Areas with sand and sitting areas other with rocks and swimming pools. All are within a 1 hour walk from Otiac and are COOL if not COLD which is actually great for those hot sunny days. Take a Frisbee and make your time there more enjoyable. For a full day trip, combine this with the natural hot springs as they are reasonably close in location! |
