During the “Green season”, also known as the rainy season, May to November, the mornings are dry, hot and sunny with the clouds pulling in around noon and raining sometimes throughout the night. October is the worst month for rain.
The green season is actually a great time to travel in Costa Rica as you can see all the tropical beauty in its full green beauty and you do not have to fight the crowds. Don’t forget that each beach has it’s own climate habits which can always change based on local weather and storms.
