Reservations made are Reservations paid upon arrival... 
 If not a $50.00 fee will be charged and withheld as a cancelation fee until then final bill is paid

All prices are quoted in US dollars as the local currency rate fluctuates frequently. 
Valid prices are ONLY those listed on THIS page within the dates listed above. 
Host program volunteer receives room with 10% discount on Spanish Classes.
All Montaņa Linda Spanish School students receive a 10% discount on all meals at Gekko's.
Non student Long term discounts are based on stays 5 nights or more.
Onsite and in town Volunteers receive a 10% discount on any one month commitment
to Spanish classes packages or accommodation below.
Spanish School Costa Rica study package price varies for each choice of accommodations.  Please remember that price quotes can not be given without knowing your accommodation choices.  Be sure to specify when booking... Dorm or private room in the youth hostel, Guest House or family?  Please click Button above for more accommodations details.

Coming in before the Sunday Spanish class start day??
 ..We are a hotel too!!  Any extra nights outside of those

Our rooms with a view have private bathrooms and towels and with fan when requested. 
Pre-reservations for the Guest House have a 2 night minimum requirement
and all nights reserved must be paid upon arrival with no refunds for missed nights.

Prices include all taxes and DO NOT include transport or breakfast. 
Dormitory beds $ 8.50 per person
Private Room: Single occupancy $ 15.00 per person
Private Room: Double occupancy $ 22.00 room ($11.00 per person)
Private Room: Triple occupancy $ 30.00 room ($10.00 per person)
Private Room: Cuad occupancy $ 40.00 room ($10.00 per person)
Kitchen fee* $ 1.00 per person

 

Misc services
Laundry-$ 6.00/$8.00 per load
Airport pickup each way-$ 80.00 including 2 persons. $5.00 each additional person
 $15.00 per hour for waits in between flights.
Minimum 2 nights reservation needed. 
*Airport pickup notes: If you will not make it out the doors within 2 hours from the time your plane has landed due to lost luggage etc. you MUST call us or after 2 hours we will assume that something has happened and you have missed your flight and will send the driver home.  You will still be charged for the pickup.

Our Spanish language school package prices are based on how many weeks of classes you are planning to take and what type of accommodations you are choosing to stay in. 

We have four options of ACCOMMODATIONS :
Camping, Hostel,  Homestay and Guest House.

Classes are 3 hours a day
5 days per week from Monday to Friday. 

Once you have chosen an accommodation option number, find your price based on the connecting columns of the number of classes you are planning to take and the accommodation option you have chosen.


For example: Homestay is option #3 and you want 15 classes...

Accommodation Options Explanation
Option Accom Includes Comments
#1 Tent Tent accommodations
and
Classes		 This is the cheapest of our packages and is best for tenters with experience. If you do not have your own tent, one can be rented for the special studying student price of $1.00 per tent per night.
#2 Hostel Hostel accommodations
and
Classes		 This is the most popular "Budget" option.  Prices include dormitory accommodations, with Private rooms having an extra charge of $5.00 per room per night. Remember that an additional price of $1.00 per stay will be added to your bill if you plan to cook in our guest kitchen. 
#3 Homestay Homestay accommodation
 and

Dinner		 This option is great for full immersion for both culture and language. Families can be accommodated. 
#4 Guest House Guest House accommodations
 and
Classes		 This is our priciest option but well worth the extra money involved.  Families can be accommodated in one room with a double bed and bunk bed. Please book early as we have only 3 rooms available each with private bathroom.

Hostel Prices are based on accommodations in Dormitory.
Hostel Private rooms have an extra charge of $5.00 per room per night.
Homestay option includes breakfast and dinner.
Homestay is only available if at least 1 adult is taking Spanish classes.
Homestay for accompanying members is $15.00 per night.
Please book in advance to ensure placement.
All learning materials provided.
Classes Run from Monday to Friday.
Arrival on Sunday 1-4 pm,  before 3 pm if going into homestay family.
Vegetarians are no problem, be sure to let us know when booking.
All prices include tax.

 
OTIAC...the all in one traveler's center

Post office, local and national Tourist information, Souvenirs, café, breakfast and lunches, snacks and juices, Spanish classes, T-shirts, Rain gear, car rental, laundry services,
 book exchange and free wifi.
"Gekko's Soda and Grill"... Otiac's on site restaurant
Breakfasts are a choice of 5 different plates. A snack and lunch menu is also available. Vegetarians are no problem. Please check in with the restaurant to see daily opening hours. Snacks, coffee and Wifi are also available and feel free to come by and just hang out!
 

Prices for Activities offered by Montaņa Linda & Otiac Costa Rica
These are our standard activities available that we offer. For more details feel free to talk to us when you arrive.  If you're interested in any other special nights feel free to organize them directly with other guests.
Price Photo Description
Classes can be at the hostel for $3.00 p/p or with a large group in Otiac for $6.00p/p or combined with cooking classes for $15.00p/p.  Dance classes: Salsa, merengue and cumbia Dance classes are offered when available directly with one of our teachers. 
Usually Thursday evening.

Cooking Classes are available with minimum 5 students and cost $10.00 p/p or combined with dance classes for $15.00p/p.
Cooking classes: Learn how to make empanadas, tortillas and chimirchuri and have a chance to eat it too!   Usually Thursday evening.



Price is based on number of participants		 Soccer night: Join the Montana Linda team and play with us against a local Orosi team.  Not to worry, we choose our opponent team based on ability and skills.  Or just be a spectator and cheer us on!! 
Usually Tuesday evening. 

Hot tub can be ordered for special occasions for $30.00 with 3 days notice.		 Hot Tub night: Take a travelling break and Relax and in our fire powered hot tub with space for 12.  The hot tub is sparked up at least once a month and can be ordered for special occasions.
