The valley's climate ranges from up to 28º C during the day to about 18ºC during the
night, which makes it great for sleeping. During the "Green season", formally known
as the rainy season, May to November, the mornings are dry, hot and sunny with the
clouds pulling in around noon and raining sometimes throughout the night, so remember
to bring appropriate rain gear. The green season is actually a great time to travel
in Costa Rica as you can see all the tropical beauty in its full green beauty.
Most of our hikes take you into the hills so good hiking shoes are advised, but there are also trails that take you through water so an old pair of shoes is also advisable. Don't forget to bring your bug spray. There are not a lot of bugs at the hotel, but spray is advisable for hiking these trails. |
