We can offer this, as our classes are normally one on one except during high season when our class size ranges from 1 to 3 students maximum per class. As the Orosi Valley’s first Spanish School, with 10 years of experience, we believe the most important not only for students and travelers, but for our community as well, is the ability to communicate. We have had nothing but great feedback about our classes since we humbly opened our doors 10 years ago and are one of the few schools that also offer a class package with camping accommodations which gives a great price for low budget learners.

Montaña Linda Spanish School Costa Rica is a division of our "AML" Family of Tourism Services which also offers Accommodations in our Youth Hostel, Guest House and camp ground is located in the town of Orosi, 30 minutes south east of Cartago. With its 8000 inhabitants, safety is not an issue which also help improve the rate that you learn Spanish as you will feel that much more comfortable and therefore more active in town allowing for more practice chances. The great community feeling motivates and encourages your learning at all stages as it is open to tourism but hasn't let it change their typical way of living, allowing you to integrate and see what life is really like, while learning and practicing your new language skills each day. The simple tasks which can often seem so complicated to say in Spanish become standard flowing vocabulary with the help of the local community, which has become used to helping students during their study period here. The town has 2, internet cafes, pool halls, typical Costa Rican bars, many restaurants and a great supermarket, which has everything a traveler could need, all allowing you to enjoy your learning vacation in comfort. As foreign owners we have been very accepted into the community due to our involvement in service projects which in turn rolls over to our visiting guests, making our guests as welcome and accepted as we are!

Our school, which is located 300 meters from both
hotels, offers you clean comfortable learning atmosphere. Our small
school has 7 classrooms with a small book collection that can be lent
out to students. We can offer you a certificate of completion free of charge
but it is not recognized by universities as we are a very small school,
normally not more then 15 students per week.
Accommodations in each Spanish School Costa Rica study package are starting from Sunday evening to the end of your program choice. If you are interested in coming in before Sunday, it's no problem and extra nights are to be paid to the office directly. It is possible to change accommodations arrangements, for example from camping to dorm if the weather is too rainy, but with an extra charge of $5.00 per person for each change plus the difference of the package price.
Although many other Spanish schools offer a Spanish package full of programmed extras we have chosen the alternative route. All our prices offer a basic package of accommodations and classes for those that don’t have a lot to spend. If you are interested in extras, we just charge you the difference. We can help you organize dance classes, hikes etc or to just hang out practicing with the locals on our patio. All prices are listed on the prices tab on the top of this Spanish School Costa Rica page and are always quoted in US dollars as there is no way of knowing the colon rate in future months. Our prices on the website are always up to date and Spanish School Costa Rica study packages vary for each choice of accommodations. MAKING A RESERVATION
The registration/reservation process is simple. Email us from the Internet on-line registration form found in the email
area on the bottom of the right hand side of the left side
navigation bar. You will then arrive at 3 circles. Click on the
"Information request for Spanish" and fill in the requested information,
including dates of arrival and length of stay etc. |

If the reservation is for more then one person please remember to include all information for all persons studying including Spanish levels around arrival time in Orosi in the question area of the on line sign up form.. Please remember to let us know if you will be taking any classes here in Costa Rica before arriving at Montaña Linda Spanish School Costa Rica. |
If you are interested in making a reservation all at once then mark “make a reservation” on the form page of the website. Please note that a reservation must have exact dates included, with arrival date on Sunday. If arrival day is not Sunday please indicate arrival day to see if it can be worked out. We will then start your reservation chart.
Once all the last few questions are answered and all information has been received you will receive your final confirmation and that’s all ...no deposit or credit card numbers necessary with payments being done after arriving… but unfortunately we do not accept credit cards or travelers cheques, so remember Colones and US dollars only. If something changes it would then be on your part to let us know.
Please remember that our official arrival day is Sunday between 1pm-4pm and before 3 if going into a family, with classes starting each Monday and running until Friday. If your arrival in Costa Rica means that you need to start mid week, then everything must be booked as far as possible in advance and confirmed by the office or by email. if you find that you are running behind and will not make it by 6:00pm please let us know or else we consider your reservation to become invalid.
If you are unsure of your plans and would prefer just calling the office directly a reservation can be done on the spot as long as you have all information ready. We normally have a few spaces until about one week before to accommodate last minute clients. Our number here in Costa Rica is 2533-3640 …But if you do know in advance that is best for us so that we can get everything organized in time especially if you are looking for accommodation in the Guest House or in a Homestay as we have limited space. If you are concerned about booking a long stay in advance feel free to book for one week now and then add another after arriving and we would then apply the package price to the final price. Transport trips back to the airport and other trips can be organized upon arrival no problem! Homestay families can also be arranged after you have arrived.
Please remember that emails are answered in order of arrival date priority and are checked only 3 times a week. As there are often problems with our server, please email us back to make sure there has been no problems with your email address if you have not had a response within one week. If you're interested in having everything booked via email before arrival then it usually takes about 1 month to have necessary information clarified.

Payments are due after arriving on either Sunday or Monday with no exceptions. Students normally do their bank machining on Sunday along the way here or Monday here at the bank in town.
